Welcome to the VASL Map Cabal!

VASL is an exceptionally great piece of software that allows players of Advanced Squad Leader to play live over the Internet or by e-mailing log-files between them.

In the beginning, the maps used by VASL was not very pretty, they was made by a Perl-script and showed us players what terrain was in the hexes. The maps was so graphically simple LOS was impossible.

Then hand-drawn maps was made by Bruce Mansfield. It was an immediate success, and it is in that line the Cabal is working. Improving old maps, making new ones and so on.
